All dogs will be treated with the utmost care and compassion. Your dogs’ safety is my 1st priority.
Your dog will be treated with the following during a full groom appointment:
Nails, ears, and sanitary trim
Brushed, combed and removal of undercoat
Pre-clipping and pre-scissoring (1st haircut prior to bath)
Specially formulated shampoos used and based on dogs skin and coat condition
Anal glands expressed (extra charge)
Velocity dried
Finish clipping and finish scissoring (2nd haircut after bath)
Perfumed, bandana, ear bows, head bow, etc..
All dogs are offered treats, water and breaks.
Grooming has been my passion for a number of years and in 2003 I decided to attend a private career college. I quit my office job for the last 14 years, and dedicated my self to the wonderful world of dogs. I attended B-pro Dog Grooming Academy located in Brampton, they are one of only two schools that are recognized by the Ministry of Education as a private career college. I owe all my experience and knowledge to the wonderful teachers at B-pro dog grooming Academy. During a nine month extensive grooming course where we were educated on how to clip to breed standard, how to properly handle dogs with care. Upon completion of the course I achieved Level 1, Level 2, & Level 3 professional grooming certificates with honors. I also achieved a nutritional
certificate, so we can advise you on proper foods to be feeding your furry family member. After working out of the home for a bit, I decided to work for a pet
hospital and gain some more experience. In June 2004 I opened It’s a Furry Life, the exclusive upscale grooming salon in Woodbridge. I know that there are people who have been looking for creative stylists to groom their furry member of the family with respect and compassion and I am that creative dog stylist you've been looking for. We offer a open concept grooming salon.
