This business was purchased by Paul Hammond in December 1994. Paul Hammond was a successful branch manager, for two major construction supply firms in the Hamilton area, for 24 years, prior to joining ServiceMaster. Mr. Hammond purchased both the Disaster Restoration and Residential Carpet & Upholstery licenses, approximately 1 year after his wife, Donna, had purchased the Merry Maids business licenses for Burlington, Flamborough, Ancaster, and Dundas. Subsequently, Donna purchased, in May 2003, the licenses for Hamilton and Stoney Creek!

Mr. Hammond understands the value of education and is fully IICRC certified in fire, water, odour, applied structural drying, and mould remediation.

ServiceMaster of Burlington is an independent business licensed to provide Disaster Restoration, Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning and Maid Services to the Burlington and surrounding areas.

In June 2004, ServiceMaster of Burlington purchased a new 7500 sq. ft. building and cleaning facility. This state of the art facility provides offices and warehousing capable of handling 15-20 complete packouts; has a self-sustained cleaning, packing, and listing station; a completely power-vented deodorizing and mould remediation room; and complete carpet cleaning facilities.

Our emergency personnel have the best equipment including LGR high efficiency dehumidifiers, Dri-Eaz turbo air movers, Dri-Eaz wall drying and hardwood floor drying technologies, as well as varied moisture detection equipment (probes, sensors, hygrometers etc.)

ServiceMaster of Burlington is fully insured (approximately 2 million liability under CGL coverage; 2 million contractors pollution liability) as well as all major subtrades that ServiceMaster uses on a regular basis.

ServiceMaster is a Quality Restoration Vendor (QRV - Approved by ServiceMaster Canada) and is capable of handling all types and sizes of emergency & restoration work. ServiceMaster of Canada's CAT team ensures that when extra help is required, our network of licensees are available to help! ServiceMaster of Burlington was the leader and major contributor in the Plastimet fire cleaning, at Ball Packaging (over $1 million loss), in 1997, as well as a large contributor in the Peterborough floods of 2004!
