A Little Bit About Us: Our first worship service was held in June 1820 and the congregation was founded to serve the people of the Scotch block. The present structure dates from 1868 and in 1995, our 175th Anniversary year, Boston was designated a Heritage Site entrusted to us but we are even more proud of our commitment to serving Christ and the people of Milton and southern Halton Hills in the years ahead.
Our Sunday morning worship begins at 9:30 a.m. The children accompany the adults for approximately the first fifteen minutes of the service and then after a special children's message, proceed downstairs for Sunday School. We also have an active Ladies Fellowship Group and Prayer Group.
Our choir is a very dedicated one that enjoys singing God’s praise. Everyone is welcome to join. The “high note” on the musical calendar is the annual Christmas Candlelight Service and Pageant: a wonderful evening when we remember what Christmas is all about.
At Boston we like to think of ourselves as an extended family and like many families we like to get together! Occasions such as the Easter Brunch, the Anniversary Dinner, the Annual Picnic, a Corn Roast in September, Euchre Parties and pot-luck dinners in the winter, and the annual Christmas Party provide opportunities for fun and fellowship.
We invite you to become a part of our church family at Boston.
